Description
You are bidding on a white label promo copy of Bob Dylan's legendary album "Blonde on Blonde" released on Columbia Records (C2L-41). Grading is based on the Goldmine Standard and the record has been play tested on a Technics SL-1600 turntable outfitted with an Orthofon OMB5E cartridge at 2.5 grams. Grading on the vinyl as follows:
Record 1: VG+ / VG-
Side A is very clean with some light surface scratching or scuffs, None of which can be felt with a fingernail. Vinyl lead in has light surface noise that dissipates as the record beings playing. Surface noise is never over-powering during play and only really noticeable during between songs, outside of a occasional pop here or there. This is a low VG+ This Label is clean with light spindle wear and faint discoloration.
Side B is the worst side of all 4 and has light to moderate surface wear. There is a scuff that's 1" long that goes over Just Like A Woman that starts ticking after the first "everybody knows line", and then skips during 3 separate instances in about the next minute. They are short, but all are light but obviously noticeable and then it ticks until after the lyrics "She's like all the rest". Other surface wear on this side is slightly more pronounced, and other than the "Just like a Woman" damage it plays great with minimal surface noise. Label is clean with a little more spindle wear, and faint discoloration.
Record 2: VG (strong) / VG (strong)
Side A has a surface scuff at the end of Obviously 5 Believers that does not skip. There are 2 light surface scratches that do not tick, and the rest is light standard surface wear you'd find on a VG+ record. There is light surface noise throughout the record, but never overpowering the music and only an occasional tick or pop, and most surface noise only noticeable on the lead in and between tracks. The label is clean with no discoloration and only light spindle wear.
Side B is very clean visually and plays the cleanest with the least amount of surface wear. There is one moderate sized surface scuff, but it's very light and again does not affect play. The label on this side is clean with no discoloration, but slightly more spindle wear than side A.
Jacket: (low) VG+ : Standard light ringwear or edgewear, light discoloration. The spine is clean and the writing on it is very legible. On the bottom of the spine it is frayed off or torn for about 3/4", you can see it in the picture. Otherwise a solid cover.
Overall I'd give the records a strong VG for play quality with the surface noise never being overpowering and only the occasional pop or tick outside of the "Just Like A Woman" instance which was mentioned earlier in detail. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to message me.

I have decided to re-grade the record to more accurately reflect the visual grade on the record. Again, I'm confident in my former VG+ grading on the play of the records, I just want to be as accurate as possible with the prospective buyer, especially on a record of this magnitude. If I were to give the record an overall grade, I'd say a SOLID VG, with it playing a low VG+.

Regarding the records, I'd put the VG+ ratings on the low end of the VG+ scale -- but outside of the skip on Just LIke A Woman, the records play and sound fantastic. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to message me.
