I found this in a flea market box recently.
I am a Dylan fan but far from a big collector of his real-deal vinyl,
so I'm going to set this important pressing free.
This copy is not mint.
However, it is in quite good shape considering its age.
It appears to have been played a bit but definitely not abused.
There are some light scratches, some causing some ticks,
but nothing big or nasty. Several other scuffs and marks which do not sound. I played both sides all the way through,
and there was one skip, in track one side one.
(skipped ahead, not repeating).
Most of the playback is free of bad ticks.
There is a bit of surface noise, some which seems to come and go with
Dylan's voice, which I have heard before in some older pressings of various things, not sure what the meaning of that is. Also some surface noise which will no doubt be improved with a good cleaning. I tend to clean records with distilled water and alcohol, but I am not going to clean this, I feel it deserves a professional clean. Who knows, maybe some TLC can get rid of that skip as well. This copy was a thoroughly enjoyable listen. It currently looks pretty clean actually, and has a nice amount of luster to it. The labels are in great shape. Crisp and clean, brightly colored, with just a few light spindle marks.
The cover is ok - it's taped all around. Old tape job. Basically fused with it at this point. some light general wear and a previous owner's name written on back.
