Excellent copy of the very hard to find 1962 Columbia 6 Eye monaural original self titled LP “Bob Dylan” (Columbia CL 1779).
This was his first LP and was not a big seller (to say the least) and it has become a major collectible.
The tracklist is: You’re No Good/Talkin’ New York/In My Time Of Dyin’/Man Of Constant Sorrow/Fixin’ To Die/Pretty Peggy-O/Highway 51/Gospel Plow/Baby, Let Me Follow You Down/House Of The Risin’ Sun/Freight Train Blues/Song To Woody/See That My Grave Is Kept Clean.
Visually the glossy LP has just a few sleeve scuffs and superficial marks. The playback is crisp and clear. You should expect some surface noise that is for the most part light but is more pronounced on the last three tracks of side one. The cover is in excellent condition with no splits, tears or cutouts. The front and back are near mint and the only wear noted is on the bottom seam. There is also a name written on the back that does not interfere with the outstanding liner notes.
