Description

This is an original 1960 First Pressing of “Bo Diddley is a Gunslinger” (Checker LP-2977 Mono). This pressing features original Checker black labels and misspelled “Cadallic” on the label and cover!

Vinyl has many light hairline scratches, wisps, scuffs, etc. but no deep scratches. Visually, the record looks like VG, but plays much better. There are some intermittent crackles upon playback, but no loud pops or skips. Audio has excellent fidelity. A great listen and a rare original pressing!

Vinyl: VG+


The cover displays well, with good color and essentially no ringwear. Clean, legible spine. There are 1-inch splits at the openings of the top and bottom seam. Some corner/edge wear with a few areas of creasing. No writing.
