TITLE:

LABEL: Blue Note 1550

with Art Farmer, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins and Art Blakey

Labels have 47 West 63rd address with no Inc, back cover reads 47 West 63rd St., New York 23, deep groove, Mono.

Deadwax A-side: etched "BN-LP-1550-A" with etched "RVG" and ear-shaped (Plastylite) mark, plus "9" and "m"; B-side etched "BN-LP-1550-B" with etched "RVG" and Plastylite ear mark, plus "9" and "m".
Not flat-edged and no '23' on the labels so this is likely a second issue from August of 1957 (instead of January '57) - see http://jazzcollector.com/blue-note/blue-note-flat-edge-all-you-need-to-know/

CONDITION:

Vinyl: VG
Small set of scratches on side 2 at the start of track 3 makes some clicks and noise. Good gloss to vinyl but plays with background noise probably from poor pressing as there's no indication of heat damage. Vinyl looks like it was not played more than a couple times. No warping.

Cover: VG+
Top seam split for 2.5" at center, other seams in fine shape. No pen marks. Fresh, glossy look to the front cover with bright colors.
