Blue Note 1526 by Clifford Brown and Lou Donaldson: Clifford Brown Memorial Lp. Mono. Deep groove labels. 767 Lesington Ave- NYC address on label. Ear lugs in the deadwax. RVG, 9M, and BN-LP-1526-A and BN-LP-1526-B hand etched in the dead wax. Cover is glossy, with moderate rubwear, front and back. The top and bottom seams have been very neatly taped with clear tape. Top seam has a lot of chipping under the tape. Bottom seam has little chipping, but the 6 inch split line is visible under the tape. The spine has some minor chipping. The two lower corners are fairly sharp, under the tape. The top two corners have rubwear under the tape. Back cover has light rubwear, otherwise unmarked. The disc has been stored in a polylined inner sleeve. Deep groove labels are clean and bright, with 4 to 6 spindle marks per side, but no other defects. This lp has been played very carefully, and there are very few marks on either side. The vinyl has a few fine scuffs, and when the record is tilted in the light, a few fine hairlines are evident on both sides. Both sides have very, very faint groove wear. Grade cover VG.. Grade side One a very strong VG++, side Two a strong VG+.This disc would benefit from a professional machine cleaning.
