Description
Blue Horizon 7-66985 Key Largo S/T 1970 A1/B1 Vinyl LP EX-/VG+ In Shrink!!
This is a very nice UK 1st pressing copy of 'Key Largo', the iconic blues LP released on Blue Horizon Records in 1970. This copy is in superb clean condition with and a clean shiny surface and no marks other than a couple of vague wisps of sleeve-removal depth an some light spots on the label. This plays very well indeed with a clear, dynamic sound and just very minor occasional noise or little more than static level, this plays superbly and looks of collectable quality. There is very minor unevenness visible in rotation but this is very minor and of no consequence to play.. The sound is superb - 'Axe And The Wind' sounds like it was recorded last week!! The sleeve is also very nice with light signs of handling and storage to the corners and opening edge however this still has the original shrink attached (the shrink is separated along one edge but it is all there!!!! There is also a big blue sticker attached that looks like a shop sticker and which I can't identify - I have not attempted to remove this. Overall EX-/VG+ this is graded EX minus and is not far off a universal excellent - in fact it is excellent or better in respect of the vinyl surface and the playability and is a very nice copy. Hard to find in this collectable condition!

Please see the following grading guidelines which I use to grade all media: Items will be described in the following order: Media/Cover (i.e. VG/G+)
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested.
