Matrix No Side One 608010 A#3 Matrix No Side Two 608010 B#2 Condition of Vinyl VG+( I played this through on a good system and all tracks played well with no jumps or pops and no distortion at high volume. There is no warping and the only imperfections are on Side 1, Tracks 2 and 4, which consists of surface noise typical of records of this age that have been played.) Condition of Labels VG (Clear and fresh but neat unobtrusive writing "Shea and Allison" on Side One) Condition of Sleeve VG ( good for age of record with no tears. Slight ring wear on front and some discolouration at the edges. On the rear the sleeve notes and photos of band are clear and unmarked.) For serious collectors of this genre (UK Psych/Prog Rock) the record needs no introduction with mint examples selling at up to £600. It was the band's second album release and very different from their first. Recorded on Georgio Gomelsky's Marmalade Label,who also launched the careers of such as the Yardbirds and Julie Driscoll. Line-up comprised Brian Godding (lead and rhythm guitars, piano and organ),Jim Cregan (lead and rhythm guitars),Brian Belshaw (bass guitar) and Barry Reeves (who superceded previous drummer Kevin Westlake. He incidentally married Madeleine Bell and died tragically in 2010) After splitting up the band members all joined other famous outfits such as Family and James Last Band, such was their technical skill. Item will be securely and protectively packaged to prevent damage in post.
