Description

This is the original cover artwork to the Yazoo Blind Lemon Jefferson double LP from 1984.  Nick Perls, who owned Yazoo at the time, traded blues 78s to Terry Zwigoff in exchange for hand tinting the black and white photo that appears on the cover and Robert Armstrong (comic artist and member of R. Crumb's Cheap Suit Serenaders) painted the border design.  Original gouache on board.  Measures 13.5 x 14.25.  Zwigoff will autograph on front or back if winner desires.
