Description

Blind Faith is the debut, and lone studio album by the English rock band. It was released in the U.S. on the Atco Records label in August 1969. The “supergroup” consisted of two-thirds of the recently disbanded Cream in Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker. The group also included Steve Winwood, of The Spencer Davis Group and Traffic, as well as Rick Grech of Family. The album produced two hits in “ Can’t Find My Way Home” and “ Presence Of The Lord”. The album also contains a stellar version of Buddy Holly’s “Well

Alright”. The original cover, featuring a topless eleven year old girl holding a model airplane was banned with good reason. Fine album nonetheless in a transitional period for Clapton and Winwood. Nice first press Atco in shrink from 1969.
