Description

An original SPACESHIP label copy of Vol4. All the SPACESHIP copies of Sabbath titles are RARE in their own right...Sabbath moved on immediately as these copies rolled off the press. Vertigo original catalogue numbers still present in the deadwax. Well worth seeking out if you are a Sabbath completist, or even if you just want a great playing VERTIGO without killing the bank balance. Particularly on Vol4 as this copy is no more than 6 months from the original release date. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold  cover with. Early copies had a couple of photo-pages in the interior and they have perhaps detached [although, no evidence that they were ever there]. There's also an generic company inner. SOURCED from a major collector - who clearly knew what he was doing..re preservation.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Super preservation and has only seen seriously light use. Excellent lustre. Under close inspection there are a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with only one slight deviation per side. Lovey quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A great player throughout. No no no...this copy is A-MAZING...you can look all you like. You won't EVER find a better player for audio. The audio is to die for and maintaining total clarity right into the lowkey moments - e.g. piano and high pitch interlude late on side 1. and acoustic number midway through side 2.. I 'm struggling to pick out anything detrimental really. One sight tick in one isolated spot per side. Clean signal and excellent reproduction - high quality throughout. Transients are perfectly intact. Guaranteed to blow you away - or your money back... FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg) Surfaces are in really great condition. Please note there's a fair bit of edge wear in places - hence the grading. I have tidied up carefully with sharpie and to be fair - it is looking pretty dapper.. Firm sharp openings. A couple of minor stress ceases at edges - that is all. Spine text is mostly legible with some wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Superb. Minimal ageing. No splits.
