Description
The insanely great lp, Vol 4. A white labeled promo copy with a promo sticker on the front cover. This would have been one of the 1st copies to ever roll off the presses, 1A/1B matrices. The sound reflects that to. This is probably the best press of Vol 4 in any format I have ever heard. An extraordinary press.
Vinyl Play Grade - Ex/Ex-. S1 slight crackle dead air between Trk 1/2. S1 slight crackle 1 or three quick points during FX. S2 Slight crackle dead air between Trk 1/2, and Trk 2/3. Light to moderate 1 time pop 2/3rds the way thru Under The Sun. Other than that, nothing but music - sweet music.
Vinyl Visual Grade - Ex-. (sleeve/handling marks).
Labels - VG+. Some small age spots.
Cover - VG. 1 corner ding, faint general wear along the edges. One very small number written top right hand corner of back cover. A very small name written bottom left hand corner of back cover and a very small date, October 7 1972 written bottom center of back cover. It is in dark red pen and you really have to hunt for these to see them. Considering the date, it is OG. Writing is writing though so VG even though the rest of the cover is Ex-. No Split Seams/Ringwear/Rips/Tears/Feathering or stains.
Inside Gatefold Cover - VG+. No damage but some lifting/bubbling along the spine adjacent to where the booklet is glued to the cover.
Gatefold Booklet - Ex-.
Standard Goldmine/Record Collector grading. Play graded on a Rega P3 turntable with a rewired RB 300 tonearm and Dynavector 10X5 cartridge. Results may vary.
