Description

An original 1st press of TE on the UK Vertigo label from '76. Matrix 5/6. Etching 'MELYS'. The vinyl comes housed in an original Robert Stace cover with plastic bag warning inner sleeve. Also included is the original lyric insert. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In remarkable condition and has seen only very slight use. Under close inspection there are a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Tempted to say perfect - as it is that close.. One of the best renditions I've witnessed. Beautiful clean audio all the way through with hardly any background at all. "It's All Right" plays really clean...as does the intro to 'She's Gone'...it's a stunner. Expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. As good a copy as you'll possibly find.
Cover (Ex-) Very nice and clean which is always the issue with this white bordered design. Most will tend to look pretty grubby by this point in time. Clean whites with just lightest handling. Edge wear is relatively light and the spine mostly intact - text all still visible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Ex-) A couple of foxing marks, but otherwise unaged.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
