DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Early UK vinyl pressing with 1Y2/2Y2 matrix and small swirl labels. Laminated gate fold sleeve with Vertigo Swirl inner dated 0171. All postage costs include tracking and top quality packaging. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION -VINYL= G+ to VG/ COVER =VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a decent sheen and a fair few hairlines and scuffs. Played majority of this today on my budget deck. It has a light edgewarp that is barely visible on Side A playback and still only light on Side B playback. It has no effect on the sound. Plays around VG generally . Music is clear and loud throughout with ticks. There are no skips or sticks. The music in even the quietest songs ("Hand Of Doom" and "Planet Caravan") remains prominent above any ticks. Gate fold sleeve is in nice clean shape. It is firm and square and has light edge wear, light corner wear and light creasing. Creasing to spine and adjacent to spine on front sleeve is probably all that prevents EX grade for sleeve. Really clean inside to gatefold sleeve- no faults at all. Poly has became detached from white inner but is still there and does its job. Has a split to 2 of 3 edges and a tear where opening edge joins one side. Labels are really clean- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER SABBATH/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
