Description

DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Original UK pressing with 1Y2/2Y2 matrix, small swirl label, laminated sleeve and original vertigo swirl inner. Its dated 1070 which is the same as the early presses but it is also the inner I find time after time with these later small swirls. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): F+/VG+. Vinyl is clean but with a lot of surface lines and brushing lines. Played in its entirety today on my budget deck. I was doing some other work at the time so it was not a really close listen but there are no sticks, jumps or skips. Sits flat on the turntable. It has some ticks and clicks in the quieter passages in particular.  The louder, fuller tracks sound pretty much okay. This cover is in nice condition. It is not too far off EX.  It is really firm and square and has less than light edgewear, light cornerwear and not much more than light creasing. Very clean interior to gatefold. Clean Vertigo swirl labels. Swirl inner is pretty clean and white and the poly has become detached from it.  No writing, stickers or sticker tears. Anyway, its a playable complete UK sabbath swirl at a decent price. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
