Description

DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath - Paranoid. Complete, original 1st UK pressing with 1Y1/2Y1 matrix,  large swirl label, matt gate fold sleeve with Big Bear credit and Vertigo swirl inner dated 09/70.  Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is for a double. All postage costs include insurance and a box/cruciform mailer.  LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. It has some hairlines and brushing lines and a slightly more noticeable surface line on track 1 side 2. Played in its entirety on my budget deck, Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds around EX. Louder fuller tracks play a very nice EX but even the quieter tracks such as "Planet Caravan" play really nicely with only an occasional soft tick. The surface line on "Electric Funeral" does cause a tick around 90 seconds into the song. It  lasts for maybe a minute then its back to playing around EX for the rest of Side 2. "Hand Of Doom" is another song that is hard to get playing cleanly but this again, sounds nice and clean with only an occasional soft tick. Cover is in decent  shape .  It is firm and square and has moderate  edge wear, corner wear and light creasing.  Clean inside to gatefold.  Swirl inner is complete and in nice shape with light wear and light yellowing. Poly is still fully attached and it has no splits. No tears around centre. Very clean Vertigo swirl labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.  PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
