For sale is an original copy of the 1970 album, Paranoid, by Black Sabbath. Unfortunately the vinyl has a lot of issues (see below) so this is very much a collectors item. It does play without any jumps on my turntable but there are lots of scratches and static.
Condition: Both sides of the vinyl have lots of fine surface scratches as well as one or two heavier ones but the main issue is at some point there has been some glue or other substance stuck on both sides. I have cleaned it as best I can and it does playback but there are several loud ticks where the damage has occurred, you can hear this in the audio samples. The labels are in very good condition, some minor wear marks but nothing significant.
Cover condition: The inner sleeve is the original large swirl design but it is not in great shape as you will see in the photos with lots of browned sellotape around the edges, some glue marks from where the inner cellophane was fixed inside and one or two tears. The outer cover is also not brilliant. A few stains as well as one area where sticker removal has caused a tear in the cover, you will see this in one of the photos. The inner gatefold spread is in decent condition with only minor wear and it is a bit grubby.
