Cover: Non-laminated gatefold cover, with strong vibrant colours throughout. The top edges show very little wear, with just a little rubbing right at the corner tips. The bottom edges show a little more wear at the corners, particularly the corners of the opening edges which are a little frayed and worn. This fraying has caused a very small, 5mm split where the bottom seam meets the opening edge; barely noticeable unless you look for it. There are no other tears, rips or seam-splits. Aside from the corner wear that I have already mentioned, the opening edge is nice and clean, with no signs of feathering. The front has a few creases in the bottom right-hand corner, and the back cover has a few minor creases and just the merest hint of ringwear. Despite its flaws, still a nice cover for its age; grades somewhere around about VG+/EX-.
Inner Sleeve: Original vertigo swirl poly-lined sleeve. The sleeve has a few creases (visible in photo) and does show a little staining/discolouration due to age, but there are no rips, tears or seam-splits.
Labels: First-press Vertigo swirl labels with just a couple of spindle trails on side B (none on side A).
Vinyl: A record that looks near-mint under normal lighting. Under a halogen light I can see a few very fine, wispy 'sleeve removal' hairlines, but these do not affect the sound quality at all. Playback is near-mint with each track playing through with utmost clarity and distortion-free sound.
Additional Info: All of the vinyl that I am selling is from my personal collection, and has been cleaned on a VPI HW 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. After cleaning, I keep all of my records in ‘Mobile Fidelity’ rice paper inner sleeves and store them with the records outside of the covers in plastic, re-sealable protective sleeves.
