Description
Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality ( 1971 UK VERY FIRST WITHDRAWN PRESSING . With the dark pink lettering and the " SWEET LIFE " misprint on the rear titles. 6360 050 Vertigo Swirl Label , box cover, swirl inner ). Stunning original package of this now legendary item. Very very rare 100% complete. Gimmick box cover is better than most you find now. Very little of the blistering that this cover usually suffers so badly from. Some laminate loss on front left. A bit of spine creasing down the twin spine as per always. No rips, tears or writing. Nicer than most you will find at this late date. and of course it is the unique dark pink ( as opposed to dark purple ) lettering with the " sweet life " mispress ( should be " sweet leaf " of course ). Very strong VG PLUS . Original Black Sabbath style Vertigo inner bag ( black panels ) is in superb EX condition . Very unusual to find them as clean and crisp. Iconic customised Vertigo labels for this release are immaculate. Very little sign of any use whatsoever . Clean. Pristine. EX PLUS. Disc lies flat and true on the platter. Stunning is the only word to describe the playing surfaces. Barely played I'm sure. Beautiful gleam on both sides. Only very feint traces of handling seen only when held directly under spotlight. Of course the audio reflects the visuals. Wonderful deep rich sound only from these first Vertigos. Dynamic and silent when it has to be. Hammers all subsequent pressings for sure. Really glorious listen. Probably undergraded at EXCELLENT PLUS ! I have shown the cover against a conventional purple lettering cover to highlight the differential. Grab this gem while its on offer. Much rarer than the Led Zeppelin turquoise lettering for sure ! Gradings as per : Record Collector Grading System Definitions. Dealer & collector since 1974. All items fully guaranteed. Worldwide customers welcome. Please wait until I have invoiced you personally before sending any payment. Personal cheques and British postal orders accepted within the UK. Any questions please get in touch. Thanks. Gordon. NB : of course the original UK six panel poster is present as well and it is in stunning pristine condition. Probably never removed from the cover before I examined it ! Nicest one I've ever seen. NEAR MINT.
