Black Sabbath Master Of Reality 1971 LP POSTER SHRINK “Masters” LP Vinyl Record
Very rare original first US pressing with “Masters” misprint on label. This was corrected on future pressings. In original shrinkwrap with the original poster.
Vinyl Grade: VG
Record is overall nice but does have a few flaws. Occasional light noise is present in quiet parts. Some small non-feelable scuffs on side one, DNAP. Side one also has a few non-feelable hairlines that DNAP. VERY small mark (I had to scour the record to find it) on “Sweet Leaf” that causes 3 ticks, very close to the beginning. Side two has a few more hairlines and some light paper scuffs from the inner sleeve. It also has two very short but feelable lines in “Solitude” that unfortunately cause ticking. The first one lasts about 30 seconds, the second around 20. Despite these small flaws, this record is still a great and enjoyable listen. Does not skip or stick on my turntable.
Cover Grade: EX
Cover is in full, tight original shrink with a small price code tag on the top right of the back. A couple creases on spine and one near the top left corner of front. Very nice cover. Original poster is EX with a couple very light creases and very light wear on the folding seams. No rips, tears, stains, or thumbtack holes. Looks like it was never hung up. Warner Brothers company inner sleeve included, with some creasing and a small split on the bottom seam.
Overall, a nice copy of this album with the very hard to find poster and misprint label. I’d keep this copy but I just wouldn’t listen to it enough.
