This is the first UK pressing of this iconic album with the first pressing matrix numbers
1Y//1 and 2Y//1
The vinyl itself is in NEAR MINT Condition.
It's absolutely flawless with a deep shine and lustre.
The vinyl has been kept in a separate NAGAOKA anti static sleeve, outside of the box cover and outside of the original inner sleeve and it is absolutely superb.
It's an archive beauty.
The vinyl has been play graded and it sounds absolutely phenomenal.
The sound is far superior than the subsequent reissues.
It plays with clarity and warmth,
An absolute dream audio experience from start to finish.
It has no deterioration in sound quality and the audio is amazing.
The embossed box cover is in Excellent plus Condition.
It has a lovely unfaded shine to it and stands out beautifully in the collection.
The front of the embossed sleeve has a real wow factor to it.
All of the text is clear and legible on the thick box spine edge, and the laminate is still shiny even after all these years.
The only thing that keeps this cover from achieving the near mint grade is some slight raising, or bubbling of the laminate on the reverse of the spine edge.
It is a stunning cover, I've never actually seen a better box cover of master of reality in all my years of collecting.
The labels are blemish free, with hardly any evidence of play whatsoever.
This one comes with the correctly proportioned six panel black sabbath poster with no pin holes or tears.
Such is the dark majesty of the sabbath that this whole package seems unbelievably unblemished by the ravages of time.
It is a real sight to behold.
This album would sit proudly in any record collection...
It's got the real wow factor.
THE GRADING SYSTEM
I usually go with record collectors grading system with the additional near mint grade between mint and excellent as there can sometimes be variables.
Mint: the record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration of sound quality.
The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition.
Near mint : the record has been played and kept with other records but looks like new.
The cover and contents are complete and without any wear at all.
The audio is as close to perfect as you could possibly get from a played record.
Excellent: the record shows some signs of having being played, but there is very little lessoning in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and creasing.
Very good: the record has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
