DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Master Of Reality. 1st UK Vertigo swirl pressing with embossed laminated box, original (non-reverse) swirl inner dated 0671 and matrix ending 1Y1/2Y1. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. All postage costs include insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 050 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some light hairlines and scuffs. Played in its entirety this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds VG generally. Side 1 plays loud and clear with only an occasional tick. On side 2 "Orchid" has some repetitive ticks but music remains prominent. "Solitude" also has ticks dispersed across the song so the audio on this track specifically falls below VG. Saying that the music is again still prominent. Background sound follows until "Into The Void" builds musically. Box cover is in slightly better than average shape. Its been stored with 2 cut stiffeners inside to preserve the shape. Retains box shape- check out the photos of the spine. It is firm and square and has moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear and light creasing. It has a few chips on edges discretely blacked in and it has a very small cellotape repair to a fine split to top opening edge flap. The rear of sleeve is really flat and clean. Check out the photos. Original swirl inner has attached poly and splits to all 3 edges. Clean labels. Check out the photos. The sleeve, labels and inner have absolutely no writing,stickers or sticker tears. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
