This is one of 4 original UK Sabbath swirls I have listed this week. DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath LP- Masters of Reality. Fully Laminated Box cover, correct original reverse black/white swirl bag, 1Y1/2Y1 matrix and small swirl label. No poster with this one im afraid. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 050 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen and light hairlines/scuffs. Nearly played in its entirety today on my basic deck, decent one is awaiting repair. If i get it fixed before end of listing i will give it another spin and update listing. The tracks sound between Very good and Excellent. Music is generally clear and loud and very powerful. The fuller tracks sound great, the quieter, experimental ones ("Orchid" and "Solitude") have some soft background sound/ticks. There is also a repetetive tick throughout "Lord Of This World". Original fully laminated Box cover is a very decent VG. As with all my Masters Boxes I kept 2 card inners in the box to try and preserve the shape of the box. This one is firm and (pretty near) square and has light edgewear, moderate cornerwear and near moderate creasing. It has no tears or splits. This is a much better than average box. Swirl inner is in decent shape, though no longer has the poly. Most people discarded the poly as it bacame known that keeping the record in the poly could leave to a cloudy sheen. Has a 2" split where one side joins topedge but no writing or other faults. No writing,stickers or sticker tears. Please note postage with the 2 stiffeners inside the box takes it over 500gm so into higher overseas postage. If you want i can remove them and it should be under 500gm and a bit cheaper to post. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of surface sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
