Description

Black Sabbath: First Album, classic Vertigo Swirl album, released in 1970. Cat number is VO6, although on this early copy the "old" number (847 903 VTY) is still mentioned. The matrix number is a little hard to read with my eyesight, but I think it is VO 6 2Y 1 420 12 16, but don't take this as gospel..
The album itself I would describe as being in VG condition. There are no jumps and the sound quality is very good. There are some minor surface scratches as you would expect from a record over 40 years old, and a little crackle especially in the quieter bits (of which there aren't many !!) but nothing that adversely affects the listening quality.
The cover is in generally good condition, with nothing written on it, and no rips or tears apart from one small (about 2"") tear at the top of the back cover. There is the inevitable scuffing around the edges, but nothing too serious.
Overall, a nice copy of this classic and collectable album.
