Description
VERY RARE, 1970 Vertigo Label, Black Sabbath 1st Album. The album credits in the inside cover mis-spells Ozzy Osbourne as "Ossie Osborne".
I purchased this album in 1970 in Bitburg, Germany where my Dad was stationed at Bitburg Air Base. This album, along with Black Sabbath's 2nd album "Paranoid" somehow got left behind when I went to college in the US in 1972. I only recently rediscovered it when cleaning out his house after he passed away....so the album has not been played since 1972!
The actual album pictures were scanned July 23 at a FedEx/Kinko's copy center. The picture showing the 1970 press date was taken using an IPhone SE...quite challenging to get a clear photo of the fine etching.
