BLACK SABBATH Black Sabbath 1st Pressing With Philips Credit

 

Vertigo - VO 6,  ? 847 903 VTY

 

Very rare 1970 UK first issue with 'Philips Record Product' credit, swirl label 7-track LP. Issued in the classic Keef designed gatefold sleeve, complete with poly-lined swirl inner. The sleeve is the genuine 1st press with the textured card and 'Stereo recordings' text. There is some limited shelf wear and the odd slight blemish, but the sleeve is crisp, sharp and flat and the spine is very sharp with clear original text. The sleeve is in EX condition considering it is over 40 years old. Crisp and sharp and clean throughout. There is only a text impression of a few letters on the rear where someone writing on paper on top of the sleeve has lightly pressed through and left some minor indentations and is hardly visible.

The vinyl is in VG+/EX condition, with only some light hairlines and sleeve removal lines. The audio is clear and dynamic. The only noticeable sound is a light click on the Side A intro. Original vertigo Swirl inner sleeve.
