Black Lambert Cylinder #851

8. Here's another Lambert cylinder that started life out as a pinkie. There are definite traces of pink on the title rim and on the inside, and the original number (#537) written in pencil is still quite clear. Arter remolding at the lambert factory, the cylinder is now shiny black with raised lettering on the title rim. There are no pits, scratches, or other damage - only a very few small spots that will probably clean off easily. As with most Lamberts, this one needs to be reamed a bit to properly fit on the mandrel. Substitute box. A rare cylinder in great condition and with a great singer - what's not to like?
