Description
Up for auction here is a handbill for Henry Rollins' first show with Black Flag, on August 21, 1981 at the Cuckoo's Nest with Wasted Youth and Circle One supporting. Henry had roadied for Black Flag since the middle of July and had been singing encores with the band as a way of easing into the role of lead vocalist, but this is the first gig where Rollins--and Rollins alone--was the vocalist.
The condition of this handbill isn't great,with tape, fold marks, and rumpled corners, but I've never seen another. In fact, I've never seen any flyers or posters for this show.
