Background:
Here's a Swiss band mentioned in the International Encyclopedia of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal. Black Angels are cast from the same piece of stone as Krokus, Steve Whitney Band and Killer. Formed in 1979, the band didn't achieve the same lofty heights as their fellow countrymen, however the band did release four albums and an EP during their time together. During 1983, Black Angels recruited producer Martin Pearson to work on their second album 'Kickdown'. Pearson had also worked with Krokus. 'Kickdown' was released throughout Europe by the Bellaphon label, plus Gull Records in the UK. Gull also followed up a year later to release the 1984 'Black Angels EP', which we are touching on with this article.
The Songs:
The Black Angels boys certainly have the image, and admittedly it's hard to avoid the Krokus comparison.
'Rock The City' is a bit copy-cat to Krokus I have to say, though entertaining enough in a harmless way. 'All you've Got Tonight' drops the metal pretensions, and despite the boogie like riffs (again similar to Krokus), this one strikes out in a Lucifers' Friend meets Tokyo workout.
In Summary: Add Black Angels to the history of Swiss hard rock.

Break down of P&P costs:
1) Postage
2) packaging
3) Money to go to the post office and return from the post office.(Sometimes, this actually costs more than postage).
Therefore: dispatching an item costs more than what the postage label indicates. Please keep that in mind.
Also keep in mind that when a seller has to deciding the P&P price, he (or she) doesn't know exactly how heavy the package will be and where potential byers are located. If the buyer is from a nearby country, the P&P might look "expensive". If the buyer is from a faraway country, it might look "cheap". Bottom line is: please don't complain about the P&P price at any stage (especially NOT when you leave your feedback for the item that you bought), as I am trying to guess what price to charge for P&P and it is impossible to get it "exactly right". If you are a Scrooge and feel like arguing, or creating a problem for tinny amounts of money, just don't buy from me. I don't want to complicate things and I don't like Scrooges.
