Condition is described using the US Goldmine Standard as that seems to be the most favoured grading system on ebay.


I do not have a turntable to play test the vinyl, so my description is purely visual.


As mentioned in my listing for Debut, I am not an experienced seller of vinyl records and grading can of course be very subjective but after researching how the Goldmine grading system works online I have graded this item as honestly and accurately as possible.
My feedback shows that my descriptions of items condition is generally very accurate and I am quite conscientious about this.


Sleeve - VG++


I think the sleeve warrants a VG++ as it's in even slightly better condition than VG+ Debut.
It is in very nice overall shape and has clearly been well looked after.


As with Debut, the sleeve is free of any very major defects.
No writing, tears, seam splits, cut outs or very heavy indentations or creases.


On some other copies of Post that I have seen, the label on the top left of the opening has been cut to open the sleeve. On this copy, the label has instead been carefully peeled from the back and stuck to the inside of the the sleeve. No residue has been left on the sleeve or damage caused by this. (See pics).
The sleeve has no ringwear at all on the back and only a very tiny (barely noticeable) bit on the front at  the top.


There are a couple of very tiny dinks at the top opening, a very light crease on the right (about 1cm), a small one at the bottom (also about 1cm) and a few very tiny creases, (a few millimetres) on the left) There is a very small crease/line that runs along the edge (bottom right) of the  front which looks like a very small manufacturer flaw to me.  On the back, bottom left, there is a very light surface crease and a small (around 2cm) line indentation).


These very small imperfections do not affect the overall look of perhaps one of the nicest first press Post sleeves you will see!


Vinyl - VG+


As with Debut, the vinyl has some extremely light marks and hairline scratches visible at certain angles. (Examined under normal indoor light and daylight near a window).
Some of these are visible on the deadwax.


Being coloured vinyl rather than standard black, they are perhaps not quite so visible.
They are quite superficial I think and the vinyl has a lovely sheen to it. It's a very nice copy. Similar to Debut, these very light scratches look like they are consistent with general storage over the years and contact with the inner sleeve, (paper marks caused by the record being taken in and out of the sleeve) rather than being excessively played.
There are no deep scratches anywhere at all.
The record has likely had very little play. There is very little (if any) spindle wear and no spindle trace markings on the labels. The record is a little dusty.


There is a very small surface blemish (about 1cm) on the Side B label near the spindle hole which is hard to photograph, but can be seen if the record is held at a tilt. This is most likely a small manufacturer error and is very minor.
There is a very tiny (literally around 1mm) dark spot on Track 3 of Side A - which is not a mark on the surface of the vinyl but is simply part of the pattern in the dyes used on the pink vinyl, probably not intentional I'm guessing.  Seeing as the vinyl is translucent, it can be seen on the other side too, (right at the end of Track 2 of Side B). I believe it is purely superficial and should not affect playback as it appears to be inside the vinyl, rather than on the surface.

There is also a very, very tiny mark on side A, around 4" from the previously mentioned dark spot. I have examined it very closely and although it could just be a very tiny fleck of debris, but it doesn't shift with a very gentle light touch of a record cleaning cloth.
It's very tiny though and a bit of cleaning fluid (or whatever is your preferred method of cleaning vinyl) should hopefully remove it.
I have read these are fairly common on coloured vinyls and are occasionally just very tiny particles of black vinyl from previous pressings.
The very last two pictures show the distance between the marks and I have underlined them in white.


Overall - a very nice first pressing pink vinyl copy of Post!
