Label/Matrix: Holland 1969 Decca 6440 676 A nice copy of this Pop legends release with a great psychedelic sleeve.
Condition Vinyl: EX+ , view hairlines, show signs of use ,but this will not affect the sound quality in any way, plays fine.
The condition of the cover is EX+, the corners and edges have noticeable scuffing along the edges and corners.
Label: clean in Near mint - The label shows no signs of spindle wear.
Great album with a blues-based psych and garage feel.
This is a great opportunity to get this rare LP, very hard to find.
Extra Info: MONSTER !! The rare first BINTANGS album ...........MINTY !! FANTASTIC Dutch 1969 Wasted HEAVY FREAKBEAT PSYCH with strong UNDERGROUND and Blues/Rhythm'n'Blues touch!!! BINTANGS came from Beverwijk and had CULT status in Noord Holland in mid-60s as SUPER WILD band! "Blues On The Ceiling" is their very 1st album! RAW, PRIMITIVE and WILD sound with strong FREAKBEAT Rhythm'n'Blues roots - they actually didn't change much, just became a bit more HEAVY! Album is loaded with WASTED looser sphere flavoured with LSD PSYCH - well, these strange mushrooms on sleeve are not there without reason! HEAVY FREAKBEAT guitar riffs, FUZZ leads, PSYCH flute, GREAT vocal... HEAVY UNDERGROUND PSYCH masterpiece!!! 11 tracks, some titles: "Smokestack Lightning", "Fighting A Losing Battle", "Still A Fool", "300 Pounds Of Joy", "My Babe", "It's All Over Now".
