Description

The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

Billy Preston-"That's The Way God Planned It" LP, Apple ST-3359, released in 1969. This was the very first pressing of the LP with the cover featuring a close up of Billy; soon after it's release it was withdrawn in favor of the cover we've all become accustomed to. Consequently, there weren't many of this pressing sold and it's since become pretty scarce. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- to NM condition; there are a couple of marks which I think might be handling marks; it's possible this is unplayed, but I can't be sure of that. Cover is in VG+ condition with some light general age/ring wear, nothing severe, and a tiny hole in the upper right corner. It looks too small to be a promo hole; it might have something to do with it's withdrawal, but I'm not sure. Very rare piece of Beatles related vinyl; LP was produced by George and also supposedly also features Paul and Ringo.
