This is a 10LP vinyl box set of Billie Holiday on Verve 1946-1959 produced by Japanese Verve and released in the U.S. through Polygram Records in 1985.

In seldom played condition. The box shows minor wear on the edges and corners and there is minor scuffing on the import label wrap. See pics. These are the only flaws. The vinyl appears to be in excellent shape and each of the 10 albums are still in their individual poly sleeves. The booklet and LP list are in excellent shape as well. this was purchased from an estate of a collector and musician who took good care of their records.

Apparently this set was also released as a CD set as well. There are some reviews on Amazon. Contrary to the reviews, only the last two LPs are live outtakes, some of which are exclusive to this set. Most of the albums are Studio recordings for the Verve label. The LP version contains a booklet and exhaustive discography not found on the CD version. This booklet also features personnel, dates and other info not found in the disc version.

The music consists of all of her 1952-57 jazz-oriented studio sessions, her 1946 and 1947 appearances at Jazz at the Philharmonic affairs, her Carnegie Hall concert of 1956, two live cuts from 1958 and Holiday's final studio album...
