Hi, this is a US LP by Bill Justis, "Raunchy", released on Phillips International PLP 1950. This is an ORIGINAL pressing! The record is a nice VG. I play-graded it myself, and the only real flaw audio wise is a scratch across track four, side two ("Scroungie"), and into the beginning of track five ("Wild Rice"). You will hear some ticks in this area, but fortunately the songs are loud and raucous -- that always helps on these old records! On to the cover - I am going to call it VG Minus even though it actually looks pretty good. The flaw is that someone in another life spilled water or something on it so there is some rippling of the lamination on the front cover and some pretty visible discoloration on the back. There is some discoloration on the front, but it's not that noticeable. I would say the front cover still has significant visual appeal. There is also a one inch tear on the left side of the back cover. The good news: no seam splits and a very nice spine! Should also mention that the label on side one (see pic) of the record has a discolored area -- not so with the side two label. All said, a decent lesser grade copy. Keep your eyes on my auctions -- a large collection of very Memphis-centric records (including a very large amount of SUN records) has just arrived at my doorstep! There is quite a bit of Rockabilly and even a little blues and soul. All records are professionally packaged in custom mailer boxes and protected on the inside by filler pads.
