Description
This is a disc jockey wlp copy of Green Tree Boogie/Down Deep in My Heart by Bill Haley & the Saddlemen, Holiday 108. This record came from a radio station collection near Allentown PA. The record plays through beautifully. The Down Deep side does have a small scuff about 40 secs into the song that produces a very very slight click for about 4 revolutions. It does not detract from the audio. This is Haley at his best with a boogie and a Hank Williams sounding ballad.
The labels are a clean, bright white, I had to use my phone's camera, so the images look a bit dark.
We have been collecting 78's for over 30 years and feel pretty confident in my grading. This is a pretty unusual disc and if you purchase it you will like it. Also, I am well schooled in packing 78s, so this disc will arrive safe.
As I go through this collection, I will list a few more discs. Please note that I do not have a copy of Haley's Christmas record on Holiday, this was the only Haley disc amongst the lot.
