Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This Double Album is a First Pressing of a Decca Records original 1972 release.
- Contains the first #1 rock 'n roll song "Rock Around The Clock". That 7" single from 1954 and the 7" single "See You Later Alligator" from 1956 are included as Bonuses.They are First Pressings and show lots of wear (see photos).
- The LP records have never been played.
- The Promo sticker is lower left back cover.
- The gatefold cover has tight seams, a stiff spine and shows no wear. One small corner bump.
- Biography liner notes by Karen Shearer.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from the Decca rep in his record store in 1972. It has been in storage for 51 years.
