Bill Evans Trio - Waltz For Debby - Original DG Pressing!
Vinyl Grade: (VG) A clean VG with many light surface marks. There is only one scratch I can feel - it is at the beginning of Detour Ahead and is approx. 1/2". It looks like Detour Ahead was the previous owners' favorite song as that has the most play wear visually and has the moist surface noise auidbly. The 1/2" scratch causes a light tick. The rest of side 1 has light background noise/crackling which is overpowered by the music. It is also worth mentioning that I do not have high end equipment and I'm sure this will sound much better with further cleaning and a better system. Side 2 is VG+ and was played much less often than side 1. The labels are clean. Overall, this was taken care of and is a nice clean copy.
Cover Grade: (VG) Graphics are clean and there are no splits. However, there is considerable paper loss to the spine which is clearly shown in the photos. There is also wear to the other edges and corners. Also, if you angle the cover in bright light you can see a light rippling to the paper to the left of the title as if it was exposed to moisture at one time. I do not see a stain or any other evidence of staining. There are no odors and no must or moldy issues.
You get exactly what you see in the images, so please view all photos to judge condition. Most of the items I sell are vintage and hard to find and will have wear consistent with age. Please ask any questions if needed and I will be happy to help.
