Description
Welcome Bill Evans fans! You are beholding a Holy Grail of the BE canon. These are among the final recordings of Bill, made just months before he died. He was actually at the height of his powers during this time, bringing a new fluency and, dare I say it, soul to his playing.
This is an all analog audiophile pressing by Mosaic, working from the master tapes, as I understand it. #918 out of a limited edition of 3,500 pressed. Includes booklet. All 10 LPs look great with lots of sheen, having been closely inspected and play tested on a VPI Classic Signature turntable fitted with a Dynavector XX-2 mk 2 stylus, connected to a high resolution all tube playback system. Each album has also been cleaned on the Stereophile Class A Audio Deske Systeme ultrasonic cleaner. The vinyls seem quiet, allowing all the music to emerge with power, delicacy and ambience, depending on the track. You will not be disappointed by the quality of the performance!
