Description
Ultra Rare 1956 first press of New Jazz Conceptions with the white label with reel and microphone on label. Deep groove.
I am not a professional grader, but I acquired this from the original owner. It has some light hairlines at most. Some insignificant scuff marks. I have played it and it plays very good with great mono sound quality. It does play with some expected minor surface noise that does not overbear the music. I will would say the vinyl is VG at worst.
The jacket front and back cover are in EX condition aside from the top seam which is completely split clean across. The bottom seam is complete. No tape had been added anywhere. The spine shows minor wear but also in tact completely. When in a plastic sleeve, it looks great. I would grade the jacket VG If it wasn’t for the seam split.
It is rumored that only 500 pressings of this first press exist, or was made originally. A true antique! And plays really well.
I will package extra good and ship priority with insurance that I will pay for.
