Description
This is Riverside Records RLP 428, Bill Evans Moonbeams, a blue label, deep groove, original mono issue, featuring Chuck Israels and Paul Motian. The record is in near mint condition,showing almost no signs of wear. There is a very occasional light tick on side 1 track 1 with the rest of the tracks playing quietly throughout. The original mono sound is truly transparent throughout this quiet record. The deep groove labels are excellent, with only light spindle marks. The original cover has very small bumps on the corners and a mark on the back but is otherwise excellent and intact (I would actually call it near mint). This is a wonderful, collector's grade copy of a beautiful original issue offered without a reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
