Bill Evans - Interplay, 1962 US Stereo 1st Pressing, catno RS9445.

This is a genuine original LP taken from my fathers collection that he build up over the 60s onwards. It has been safely stored since at least 1983 when we moved to our current home and hasnt seen light since! The package is in fantastic condition as follows:
Vinyl - in excellent condition with only a minor number of hairlines on both sides which can only be seen in strong light/torchlight. Theres no major scuffs or scratches and without being able to playgrade (Linn out of action!) im still sure given a good deep wash it will playback beautifully. The labels are clean and free of any damage. As said it just needs a wash as decades of storage have taken a little shine off the vinyl!
Jacket - also in excellent original condition, with the light texturing to it. Devoid of any seem or spine splits and with only minor crush to the spine it is only otherwise showing light storage wear in line with its 58yrs of age. There is one small felt marknon the back cover. The inner sleeve is purely a poly liner itself in great shape. I dont know whether it is original or not but all the Bill Evans originals ive seen so far dont have a typical paper sleeve (they mostly dont quite fit anyway!) so maybe it is org.
Most sellers would class this LP as NM/NM. In fact many Lps ive bought for myself described as NM are often lesser in condition than this one. Tbh i think NM maybe fair in context of the nr 6 decades of age here but Excellent+ would seem fair enough and conservative the way i like the world to be! Price wise then the LP reflects the rarity, demand, condition, history and minimal ownership. Looking at Discogs history the lowest sold was £14 and highest £192. At time of writing the best example on Discogs (a VG+) is going for £234 over in US! I feel the price asked here is thus very fair considering what we have here.
