Description
For sale is Big Star's 3rd (a/k/a Third), their third album released in 1978. I bought this new and immediately put it in a protective inner sleeve. It's been played a lot. The cover is graded as excellent because of some minor ring wear and corner blunts! The spine is in excellent condition with two minute stress cracks toward the center and what appears to be a dot of color loss at the top of the spine. It's about 1/32" in size toward the top, between the corner and where it say Big Star Third. The vinyl is nearly mint having been cleaned with my VPI record cleaner and played on audiophile equipment. I believe this is one of the best copies you' still be able to find! A real great addition to anyone's collection. I'm a huge Alex Chilton fan and you can find some of his old singles in my Ebay store. Please take a look!
I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
