This listing contains one (1) original vinyl copy of Big Star'a #1 Record.
This vinyl LP is in very good, like new condition. It has been carefully stored (along with thousands of other records) in my home (not the basement or attic) for many years. The cover is in great shape. The spine is solid, not cracked. Colors are looking fantastic (not faded), all corners are in very good shape - the entire record cover has no stains, spills, etc. The original plastic wrap is still in place. The promo punch hole (in top right corner of LP jacket) is sharp (not frayed) and very clean. The LP labels are in equally fine shape and firmly affixed to the vinyl. The LP is in very good condition - no chips, cracks, dings, surface gouges, etc. There is a ghost-like discoloration in the vinyl of the last 3 songs on side 2. It still sounds pretty darn outstanding on the turnable as I have been listening to it as I write this listing. Sadly, the original paper sleeve and promotion materials have been misplaced over time. It is fair and accurate to state that this LP bears very light, age, usage & storage wear. Please review all photos for a closer, more detailed view.

This record was released in 1972 on Ardent Records distributed by Stax Records.It is Ardent Records release #ADS 2803.
If you’re reading this, you already know the history of this record and the fact that there’s a good chance some of our favorite bands might very well have not existed if not for Big Star.This is a very nice copy of the original pressing of this amazingly influential (and rather excellent) record. Sadly the original promo materials that were packaged with this LP were lost. I also dig “The more you learn, the less you now” inscription along the record center of side 2.
This is one of MANY vinyl LPs that I will be selling here on Ebay.
