Description
A pristine copy of the classic Big Star debut album featuring Alex Chilton. Sleeve condition is apparent from the photos and the album shows better in person!
No hole punches, slits, marks, or writing anywhere on sleeve or labels. There is what appears to be a VERY small jigsaw cut on one corner but it is not obviously a cutout mark; see photos. There is very light surface wear and just a hint of a ring front and back (more obvious in the photos than in real life).
Disc appears new, plays beautifully with moderate surface noise, no skips or scratches or warpage and great dynamics.
A very fine example of this very scarce example of Memphis white soul. Owned since 1974 by record collector, played just three or four times on audiophile equipment.

(there is also a Star of David with an indecipherable scribble inside, and what appears to be a stylized R)
Side 2: STXS-0261-1 AS-0406 RR -Re-2 ?17213(1) also, a circle containing the letters MR
The words L.NIX and PRUDENCE appear on the inner portion of the deadwax.
