Big Daddy Kane. It's A Big Daddy Thing. Cold Chillin' Records(9 25941-1). 1989. 

Big Daddy Kane was born September 10, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York.
The backronym "King Asiatic Nobody's Equal" is often applied to his moniker. His name "Kane" came from Kane from the popular TV show Kung Fu. The "Big Daddy" came from Vincent Price's character in an old Frankie Avalon movie, "Beach Party".  

There were so many great hip-hop albums coming out in the late '80s and '90s. The sophomore record from Big Daddy Kane was no exception. As was becoming a trend, the rapper tried almost everything on this album, including slow love ballads which he never got criticized for (unlike, say, LL Cool J). I suppose, when surrounded by thumping classics like "Another Victory", the odd misstep can be forgiven.
