Description

Big Brother & the Holding Company 1st SELF TITLED album on DJ promo mono vinyl LP. Mainstream Records Catalogue # 56099 (Monaural). The debut of Janis Joplin on record. This album was released in August 1967 shortly after the band's major success playing The Monterey Pop Festival. 

Condition: 

Vinyl: Very strong VG+ condition. The vinyl is shiny and glossy and looks great, as I hope you can see in the photos. I have PLAY TESTED this entire lp and it plays great!! Very clean; it's even relatively quiet between the tracks. Overall, great sounding as far as playback. And this is a rare DJ promo mono copy, as you can see from the back cover stamp. 

Jacket: As you can also see in the photos, I would rate the jacket VG+. Overall excellent condition, showing some expected customary wear for the age. No seam splits.
