  • Vinyl Grade: Very Good (VG)  play graded *vinyl still possesses a nice shiny gloss with some light spindle marks (mostly on Side 1) that produced minimal lo-grade and intermittent background noise only; a very nice playable copy; there is small sticker peel on Side 1 
  • Cover Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+) *jacket has solid seams with only real flaw being a couple of bend creases on front 
  • Notes: Born to Be Blue captures Beverly Kenney at her most intimate and compelling, created in collaboration with arrangers Hal Mooney and Charles Albertine,  Ellis Larkins plays piano on all selections. (AllMusic)
