RECORD - COVER GRADING:
Records are visually graded unless otherwise noted.
SS (Still Sealed): An unopened record, still in the original shrink-wrap. In original manufactured condition unless noted differently.
M (Mint): The record and sleeve would have to be in perfect condition. There are times when (upon opening) even a Still Sealed record might not be in perfect condition. I do not use the grade "Mint".
NM (Near Mint): A very clean record. Near mint condition except for slight superficial mark or paper scuffs. Covers/Picture Sleeves will look close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and/or age. The artwork will be close to perfect at this rating with no significant creases, splits or ring wear.
VG+ (Very Good Plus): A well-cared-for-record that is noticeably less than perfect, but defects are not visually or audibly distracting. Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. Covers/Picture Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but will not be split. (This is a grade that will satisfy most collectors.)
VG (Very Good): A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise may be present and sleeves may look worn, but the record is still a decent copy. Covers/Picture Sleeves will show ring wear, may have been written on and/or have seem splits.
F (Fair): This is a beat-up record. I only sell records in this condition that are extremely rare.
