Up for bid is a very rare DJ white label promo 2 LP set, "The Best of Otis Redding. This is a promo MONO press, released by Atco Records (2-801) in 1972. To be clear, the red sticker on the front top left corner reads "Stereo, ATCO SD 2-801." This is the sticker that came on the actual non promo set. The orange sticker on the front top right corner reads "Promotional DJ Copy Monaural," and the ID number on the inner labels of each LP is "2-801," not "SD 2-801." LPs are VG++, with a few faint scuffs on either side of both LPs, and no spindle wear. Gatefold jacket is VG+. There is a couple small seam splits on the back bottom seam. The first starts at the lip and travels inward about 1/2 inch. The second is near the intersection of the bottom seam and the spine, also about 1/2 inch long. Therre is wear on the top and bottom seams. There is corner wear on all four corners. There is very light ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. Don't miss your chance to pick up this very rare set, in beautiful condition!
