I am helping us all ride out the Delta stage of the great global lock-down by listing a pile of clean unusual and fun vintage LP’s. This will be an easy BUY IT NOW priced lp with the option for you to make an offer.
Here is a very rare and fun album set of Bessie Smith's EMPRESS OF THE BLUES VOL II Columbia Records 78rpm album C-142 from 1947. This is an original label pressing - tough to find.
These are decent surviving 78 copies. The box has one corner split but overall intact, and has a taped note by previous owner inside. This is the Columbia Records "Recordtainer" box set version of this set, and the booklet and space paper are not with it. The discs all show wear, play wear and marks, but no cracks - average VG to G 78 discs. I have had this for years, and I hope to get my opening bid for it but will keep them if I don't. I could spend a year buying uo the discs in better shape and be happy. Very rare copies of these discs.
A nice rare 78 lot. Reasonable opening bid with no reserve and buy it now option. It goes for what it goes for. So there you go.
These are lp’s that are extra – duplicates from collections, things I don’t listen to much, etc. They are all in decent shape, and all would sell in shops for more. So, help me make room and take advantage of the low prices, with $4 shipping in the US.
